These terms apply to anyone who uses Foundation Repair Chattanooga TN (foundationrepairchattanoogatn.com), a website for homeowners in Chattanooga, TN, the Hamilton County seat, and in the towns listed on our service areas page. Reading a page or sending a form means you accept them.
What we offer. We write plain guides on warning signs, valley soils, national cost ranges, Tennessee's license tiers and who handles permits. We also offer two tools: a warning signs quiz with five questions and a cost calculator with four steps. When you send a request about a home, we pass it to one independent local foundation contractor. Any visit, inspection, estimate, contract, permit step, warranty or payment is a matter between you and that contractor.
No obligation. Sending a request doesn't bind you to anything. You can say no to any offer, talk to other contractors and take as long as you like to decide.
Your part. Please describe the home honestly, and send requests only about property you own or have the authority to make repair decisions for. Don't use our forms for advertising, bulk messages or anything unlawful.
How to use what you read. Everything here, from cost ranges and soil notes to quiz results and rule summaries, is general information. It can go out of date, and none of it describes a particular house. Nothing on these pages is engineering, geotechnical, legal or financial advice. For a decision that matters, talk it over with a lawyer, a licensed professional engineer, the contractor or the permit office that serves your address.
Nothing given in return. No one receives gifts, rebates, credits, discounts or prizes from us for sending a request.
Limits on our responsibility. The site is offered as it is. To the extent Tennessee law allows, we aren't responsible for any contractor's work, prices, statements or promises, or for losses that come from relying on these pages.
Outside links. Links on these pages point to public offices and published sources, so you can test what we say. A link doesn't mean that office or source supports us or works with us.
Law and changes. Tennessee law governs these terms. If a court strikes out one term, the rest still stand. We may update these terms from time to time, and the "Last updated" line marks the version in force.
